A web-based app for real-time tracking and objective reflections.

There are a lot of developing ways to track players.
Your team camera will have AI that will identify your player and provide highlight moments.
AI companies will also take your game film and analyze it for you.
It’s all good. It’s powerful, and it’ll help your player move forward.

Here, is something else.
More immediate. Just as objective.

The Player Tracker.
A web-based app. An open soccer field.
Draw what you see happening, Each drawn line is saved, but disappears once drawn.
Each half finishes, hit ‘Half End’ screenshot or email the resulting image.

  • Runs

Movement is an integral part of the game. Draw lines for intentional movement, such as forward, supporting, or recovery runs.

The ‘T’ at the end of the line will show you which way the run was going.

  • Good & Bad

Good dribble, but bad pass? Would be good to know.
Why? Then we can objectively review. Bad passes might be long passes - they are harder with accuracy.
We see good short passes? Great for confidence and perhaps better fitting with the teams style of play.

  • Line map from first half drawing

    The Result

In our example we watched a #2.
    Reading the map:
Lots of intentional runs (black dashes)
A bad single cross (red line)
Good dribbles (green squiggly line) end with good passes (blue)
Dribbles inside were bad (yellow squiggly line)

Now what?

You have an objective picture of individual player actions to review.
What is your team style of play?
What are your strengths?
How do they align?
Do you need to go out and work on those longer passes after a dribble?

Even better - compare your map with moments from professionals, below!

Please do not worry if the picture is not 100% accurate, or you miss a pass. Add it in later, but try to focus on trends, not just one moment.
